Monimbó is a small craftsman neighborhood located in Masaya, Nicaragua. This video is linked to the Destination Brand development strategy. The footage gives a glimpse of the artisan route and life within this community.

To develop this project a research on the area was carried out. The objective was to identify the different artisans and the signature products they manufacture. “Puertas abiertas” (Open doors) reflects the warm way they welcome their visitors. Besides the logo, a signaling system proposal was created based on the different materials and practices they perform such as footwear, palm leaf, leather, sweets, masks, wooden toys, traditional dance and bamboo.
